First and foremost, HTML and CSS are one the main building blocks of the frontend. Although they seem very static in its developments, exciting new things come out every so and then, e.g. CSS-grid and Sass (SCSS).
ReactJS is my go-to for creating web applications. Especially its integration with Redux has helped me greatly with directing data throughout applications.
Whereas I have chosen SQL (MySQL) mostly over NoSQL (e.g. MongoBD) in the past, I observe its relevance and applications more now. I really like to discuss with others what its (dis)advantages are, and which of the two (or a combination?) we should chose.
I have experience using CircleCI, in order to check whether React applications can be built and pushed to a dev/staging/production server.
Heroku integrates easily with NodeJS applications, in order to monitor activity and successful builds.
I am very open to learn new technologies, and discuss what it's possibilities are! This includes:
- Azure/AWS (Cloud Infrastructure)
- Unit/Integration testing
- Much more...
I am used to work with Project Management tools, in order to keep track of the project' status. This includes:
- Creating and assigning tickets.
- Communicating about its content and status.
- Keep track of the backlog.
GitHub is my preferred version control system, as most other developers also have experience using it. I use it for the following tasks:
- Creating pull requests and reviewing other PR-requests.
- Working in several environments (Development, Staging, Production).
Main communication channel with team members, in case I am working on a bigger project.
